Spearheading one such effort, a refinance of our city pension obligations, is estimated to have saved nearly $100 million over the next 28 years for Redondo Beach taxpayers.

  • Clarify roles and responsibilities between Finance Department & Treasurer’s departments suggested four years ago
  • Work with the City Clerk’s office to clarify oversight roles
  • Consult with the City Council on ways to update City Charter language that has not been revised in decades.

  • Investment workshops with the public to pull back the curtain on our city’s resources
  • Share monthly investment reports with Budget & Finance Commission
  • Be available at City Council meetings for the Council to ask questions
  • Be available at City Council Member individual meetings to answer questions from the residents

Yes, our Investment Advisory group is FHN.  They provide monthly status reports for review which are then forwarded to the City Council members as part of our City Investment Policy

The City budget is approximately $100 million and total assets under management were $110 million at our December Budget & Finance meeting.
